GlenAllachie 19 Year Old Ex-Solera Sherry Cask is a Speyside single malt from the distillery's Masters of Wood collection, bottled at 50% ABV.
The whisky was matured in ex-solera sherry casks, which add dried fruit, warming spice and sweetness to the spirit.
The nose offers brandied plum, intense mocha, honeycomb, caramel snaps, molasses tart and rich cocoa. The palate brings plum syrup, treacle, warmed heather honey, black cherries, mocha and brandied orchard fruits, with crystallised cinnamon and ginger. The finish is long and warming.
