This is a 35 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2025 at 50.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Master Distiller Billy Walker composed it from four cask types: Mizunara virgin oak, American virgin oak, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximenez sherry. It is bottled at natural colour.
The nose brings creamy vanilla and heather honey with molasses, dark dried fruit and fine wood spice. The palate is full and complex, with sherry sweetness, dark fruit, chocolate and sandalwood-like spice from the Mizunara oak. The finish is very long, nutty and spicy, with dark sweetness and lingering wood spice.
