This is a single cask GlenAllachie, matured for over 14 years in a PX sherry cask and bottled at a natural cask strength of 60.1%. Cask 6624 gave an outturn of 589 bottles.
Sherry runs through the whole dram. The nose brings dark chocolate, mocha and plums, with heather honey and nutmeg. On the palate there is heather honey, fruit cake, dark chocolate and treacle, lifted by grapefruit and ginger. The finish is long and rich, with sherried depth that lingers.
