This is a single cask GlenAllachie from Speyside, distilled on 13 August 2007 and bottled in September 2023. It matured for 16 years in a PX puncheon chosen by Master Distiller Billy Walker.
It was bottled at a cask strength of 58.9%, without chill-filtration or added colour, and 702 bottles were filled.
The nose is full of figs, plum jam and heather honey, with orange peel and molasses. Waves of cinnamon, blackberry, candied apple and honeycomb on the palate are followed by ginger and molasses. The finish is long, with raisins and cocoa.
