This GlenAllachie is a single cask Speyside malt, distilled on 30 April 2014 and bottled in 2026 after 12 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. Master Distiller Billy Walker selected the cask for the German market, and it yielded 355 bottles.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 62.7% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose brings rose petals, mocha, heather honey, fig syrup, cinnamon, ripe plums and cherries. The palate is dense and syrupy, with molasses, figs, dark chocolate, cocoa and raisin buttercream. The finish is long, sweet and warming, with chocolate, caramel, plums and fine oak.
