The whisky was matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks.
Tasting notes point to brandied honeycomb, molasses tart, spiced blood orange, cocoa, black winter truffle and caramelised brown sugar on the nose. The palate offers rich chocolate, warm baking spices, clementine zest, molasses, orchard fruits and crystallised ginger, and the finish brings black cherries and raisin butter.
