This is GlenAllachie 21 Years Old Batch 5, a limited edition single malt bottled at a cask strength of 49.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The batch was put together from five casks of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose is usually described as honeycomb, molasses and blood orange, with cocoa, truffle and caramelised brown sugar. On the palate come rich chocolate, baking spices and clementine zest, followed by orchard fruit, black cherries, butter and raisins.
