GlenAllachie 30 Year Old (Batch 3) is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at a natural cask strength of 48.9%. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
It spent thirty years maturing in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, alongside a small number of American virgin oak barrels, in a batch that reflects Billy Walker's approach to wood management.
The nose brings dark chocolate, espresso, treacle, dried figs, raisins and Christmas cake. The palate has dark fruits, mocha, molasses, orange peel, cinnamon and clove. The finish is long, with cocoa, dried fruit, nutmeg and polished oak.
