This is GlenAllachie 30 Years Old, Batch 2, a Speyside single malt bottled at a cask strength of 50.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
Billy Walker married eight casks from the distillery's 1990 and 1991 vintages, matured mainly in ex-PX and Oloroso hogsheads and puncheons.
The nose is full of heather honey, sultanas and mocha, followed by cinnamon, coconut shavings and dried fruit. The palate brings dark chocolate, figs and orange peel with a hint of syrup. The finish is raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg.
