This is a 35 year old Speyside single malt from Glenallachie, distilled in 1990 and released in 2026. Master blender Billy Walker put together the cask mix, which draws on four types of wood: Mizunara virgin oak, American virgin oak, and Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Japanese Mizunara oak sits at the centre of the maturation. It was bottled at its natural cask strength of 50.2% ABV, with no added colour and without chill filtration.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
