Virgin Scottish oak finish
This is an 8 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, the third batch in the distillery's Virgin Oak Series. It was released in March 2023. The whisky was first matured in American oak bourbon barrels, then finished for roughly 18 months in freshly filled virgin Scottish oak casks. The new Scottish oak is meant to bring subtle, layered flavour and show how different oak species shape the same spirit. GlenAllachie was established in 1967.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
