This Glenallachie was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2023 by Murray McDavid as part of its Benchmark range. It is a 9 year old Speyside single malt at 55.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 639 bottles.
The spirit was finished in an Oloroso sherry hogshead, after almost a decade in wood overall. It is described as a very drinkable dram with plenty of character, with notes of marzipan, cherry and banana bread.
