This is a 9 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, finished in Oloroso sherry casks and sold in a 70cl bottle. Oloroso is the darkest style of dry sherry, aged without a layer of flor yeast, and is known for pronounced nutty and dried fruit character.
The finish brings bold layers of coffee beans, sticky raisins, stem ginger and figs, working alongside the honey-rich house style of the distillery.
