GlenAllachie – 9 Year Old Rye Wood Finish (70cl)

This is a 9 year old single malt Scotch whisky from GlenAllachie, in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the distillery's Wood Finish Series, in which single malts are matured in specific casks chosen to suit the GlenAllachie spirit. The whisky was matured in American oak barrels, then re-racked into Kentucky rye casks. The different toasting and charring of those casks, together with the rye influence, adds a rich and spicy twist to the GlenAllachie style. The release is limited to 2000 cases worldwide.
