Glenallachie Distillery Edition is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky made by Glenallachie Distillery in Aberlour. It is matured in traditional oak and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sweet and expressive, with green and golden apples, pears in soft caramel, toffee, vanilla, brown sugar, digestive biscuit and a little fresh grass. The palate is silky and light, led by vanilla pod and malty sweetness, with a bright citrus note like a lemon sweet and a faint touch of pepper. The finish is medium and fruity, with honey, vanilla and a trace of liquorice.
