Glenallachie – Meikle Tòir 2019 Single Cask

This is a peated single malt from Glenallachie, part of the Meikle Tòir series, which looks at the smoky side of Speyside whisky. It spent 7 years in a single oloroso sherry cask and was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. Tasting notes describe cinnamon buttercream, honeycomb and hazelnuts, followed by spiced orange, maraschino cherries and salted caramel.
