GlenAllachie – Meikle Toir The Original (70cl)

Meikle Toir The Original is a peated single malt from GlenAllachie Distillery, sold in a 70cl bottle. It is the single malt that leads the distillery's peated range. The spirit was fermented for 160 hours, nearly triple the industry average, which gives a big, rich and complex character. The nose combines baking spices, burnt honey and roasted coffee beans, followed by hazelnuts, smoked almonds and butterscotch. The palate has sweet peat, rich chocolate and heather honey, then cinnamon, ginger and oak-smoked sugar.
