Glenallachie – Single Malt 1989 (70cl, 40%)

This is a Glenallachie single malt Scotch whisky from 1989, selected and bottled by Delhaize Le Lion in Brussels. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is intense, with dried fruit such as raisins, dates and figs, dark toffee, mocha and winter spices of cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is dense, rich and silky, with dark chocolate, espresso, molasses and heather honey, balanced by sherry sweetness and tropical fruit such as pineapple. The finish is exceptionally long and warm, with ripe dried fruit, cocoa and well-integrated wood.
