This is a Speyside single malt from the GlenAllachie distillery, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was put together under master blender Billy Walker.
The whisky is matured, at least in part, in carefully chosen wine casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers red fruit such as cherries and berries, with honey, chocolate and a hint of spicy oak. The palate is full and rich, with ripe red fruit, raisins and soft tannins, plus caramel and vanilla and a creamy texture. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit, gentle spice and dry oak.
