This is a seven-year-old Irish single malt from Glendalough, bottled at 46% as Batch 001. It matures in American oak casks before a finish in Japanese Mizunara casks.
The Mizunara finish brings the subtle, spicy character of Japanese oak to the Irish spirit.
The nose is intense, with apricot and mango. The palate is full and soft, with citrus fruit alongside dark chocolate and cinnamon.
