Glendronach – 1993 24 Years Old Single Cask 394 Sherry Butt (51.7%)

This is a single cask Glendronach from the Sherry Butt Edition, distilled on 12 February 1993 and bottled in October 2017 at 24 years old. It comes from an Oloroso sherry butt, cask 394, and 659 bottles were filled at 51.7% ABV. The nose is rich with sultanas and raisins, alongside warm cinnamon pastry. On the palate, raisins and cinnamon mix with melted, salty butter, leading to a dry finish with hints of freshly ground coffee. The whisky is amber in colour.
