Glendronach – 43 Year Old 1972 Batch 12

Glendronach 43 Year Old 1972 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Batch 12 of the distillery's single cask releases. The spirit was filled on 25 April 1972 into a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt, where it stayed for more than four decades before bottling in August 2015. It was bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, and 414 numbered bottles were filled. The notes describe dark fruit, polished mahogany, walnut cake and spice with rancio character.
