GlenDronach Ode to the Embers is a single malt matured in sherry casks and bottled at 48.4%. It combines warm spice, dried fruit and delicate smoke.
The nose has dark chocolate, dried figs, cinnamon and a touch of oak smoke. On the palate come layers of spiced sherry, toasted nuts and caramelised orange peel with subtle smoky undertones. The finish is long and warm, with spices, dark fruit and a lingering, elegant smoke.
