GlenDronach – The Venetian Room House Editions (70cl, 46%)

The Venetian Room is a House Edition from GlenDronach, a Highland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in three kinds of cask: Pedro Ximénez sherry, Oloroso sherry and Italian Amarone red wine. The sherry casks bring sweetness, dried fruit and nutty depth, while the Amarone adds dark cherries and red fruit. The nose offers dark cherry, dates, cocoa and tiramisu. On the palate come red plum, amaretto, chocolate and hazelnut. The finish brings forest fruits, nut cream and coffee.
