This is Glenlivet Captain's Reserve, a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
Its main maturation took place in ex-Bourbon casks of American white oak and in sherry casks.
The distillery then finished the whisky in Cognac casks, the feature highlighted in the name of the expression, before bottling.
