Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve (75cl, 40%)

Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky without an age statement, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum. Only a portion of the single malt goes into those barrels before the whisky is married together, adding tropical fruit to the distillery's orchard-fruit character. The nose offers sweet pear, crisp apple, banana in syrup, toffee, mandarin and vanilla. The palate brings toffee, clementine, tropical fruit, baking spice and vanilla. The finish is long, fruity and gentle, with caramel and soft tropical fruit.
