Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Tain, in a 750ml bottle at 46.5% ABV. It carries no age statement.
The whisky was matured in bourbon barrels and finished in toasted Portuguese red wine casks. Harrison Ford shaped the blend, looking for a whisky with a bit more bite than the standard Glenmorangie range, and the higher strength gives it more body than the core 40%.
The nose is typically described as Seville orange, lemon and grapefruit peel with honeysuckle, apricot and muscovado sugar. The palate is honeyed and creamy, with stone fruit, marmalade and light tannin. The finish is medium to long, with orange oil and gentle oak.
