Spìos is the ninth release in Glenmorangie's Private Edition series, a limited edition Highland single malt created in 2018 by Dr Bill Lumsden, the distillery's Director of Whisky Creation.
It was matured in first fill rye whiskey casks from Kentucky, chosen to recall the great American ryes of the past. Lumsden describes the result as a substantial yet delicate malt. It was bottled at 46% ABV and is not chill filtered.
