The Altus is a 25 year old Highland single malt from Glenmorangie, released in 2025 as part of the distillery's core range. Dr Bill Lumsden chose the long maturation for it.
Most of the whisky aged in ex-bourbon casks, while a smaller share spent time in Malmsey Madeira casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is described as combining Glenmorangie's classic fruity character with sweetness and spice.
