Godawan Fruit & Spice is an Indian single malt made in Rajasthan by Diageo India, in a 70cl bottle. It matures in the hot, dry climate of the Alwar region.
The whisky is aged in American Standard Barrels and ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and American virgin oak.
Sultanas, figs and other dried fruit lead the nose, with caramel, raisin and mature oak. The palate adds vanilla, spice and toasted oak to the fruit and caramel, and the finish is long and warming.
