Godawan Series 01 Rich & Rounded is an Indian single malt produced in Alwar, Rajasthan, in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured with Pedro Ximénez sherry cask influence and in specially treated casks infused with Indian botanicals.
The nose offers dried apricot, figs and raisins with honey, caramel and aromatic spice. On the palate there are rich dried fruit and PX sweetness alongside caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate and warming spice. The finish is rounded and lingering, with sweet fruit, toasted oak and gentle spice.
