Godawan Single Malt Series 02 Fruit & Spice (70cl, 46%)

Godawan Single Malt Series 02 Fruit & Spice is an Indian single malt made at the Alwar distillery in Rajasthan from locally grown six-row barley, with maturation sped along by the region's intense desert heat. It is bottled at 46% without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is finished in cherry wood casks seasoned with the Indian botanicals Rasna and Jatamansi. The nose offers dried mango, orange liqueur and toffee, and the palate dark cherry, apple, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is crisp and dry, with cocoa and oak.
