Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is made by Irish Distillers at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Its name comes from Mitchell & Son, the Dublin merchants who marked casks in their Grafton Street cellars with coloured paint spots to show the intended maturation period.
It is a blend of single pot still whiskeys aged between 7 and 10 years, made from malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills. Maturation is in new and refill Bourbon barrels and in sherry casks.
