Jameson 18 Year Old Limited Reserve (75cl, 40%)

Jameson 18 Year Old Limited Reserve is an Irish blended whiskey, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It combines triple-distilled Irish pot still and grain whiskeys, and each component is aged for at least 18 years in American bourbon barrels and European oak casks. The blend then spends a final marrying period of at least six months in first-fill bourbon barrels, which adds vanilla and a gentle sweetness. Each bottle is individually numbered. The nose combines aromatic oils, spicy toffee, toasted wood and dried fruit such as raisin, apricot and dark plum. The palate is mellow, with fudge, toffee, vanilla, wood, leather and a gentle sherry nuttiness, developing gingerbread, honey and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with wood spice, toffee and sweet malt.
