This is an 18-year-old single malt from the Hakushu distillery in Japan, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is an older release of the expression.
The nose offers fresh herbs, green fruits and floral notes with a hint of smoke. On the palate it is rich and well rounded, with ripe peaches, honey and a touch of vanilla, along with light smoke and spice. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and gentle warmth.
