Hakushu 18 Years is an 18-year-old Japanese whisky from the Hakushu distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines orange, pear and a dry smokiness, with the feel of a fruit salad. On the palate it turns to sweet pastry, bakery goods and baked flavours.
The finish is long and fruity, with Manuka honey and a subtle thread of smoke.
