Hakushu – Distiller's Reserve

Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Hakushu distillery, which stands in a mountain forest on Mt. Kaikomagatake. It is a smooth whisky with a gentle smokiness and herbal notes. On the nose it shows peppermint, melon and cucumber. The palate brings yuzu, grapefruit and lemon thyme, and the finish is refreshing with a little smoke.
