Hakushu – Distiller's Reserve Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl)

Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single malt from the Hakushu distillery, set in the foothills of Mount Kaikomagatake. Both heavily peated and lightly peated malts went into it, giving a herbaceous, smoky whisky in a 70cl bottle. The nose has grassy notes, pine and peppermint, rounded out with cucumber and melon. On the palate there are bursts of citrus zest and mint, and the finish is long and smoky.
