Hancock's President's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon (44.5%)

Hancock's President's Reserve is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon made at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each bottle is drawn from an individual barrel, so character varies subtly from one to the next. It is bottled at 88.9 proof, or 44.45% ABV, and comes in a decanter-style bottle with a rich amber colour. The nose is delicate, with vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and light floral notes. The palate is smooth and mellow, with honey, butterscotch, gentle spice and soft oak. The finish is clean and of medium length, with lingering sweetness and subtle spice.
