Hatozaki Small Batch is a Japanese blended whisky produced by the Kaikyō Distillery in Akashi. It takes its name from the Hatozaki Lighthouse, described as Japan's oldest stone lighthouse. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers honey, vanilla and gentle oak with fresh fruit and sweet malt. The palate shows caramel, dried fruit, toasted grains and subtle spice with a light touch of oak, and the finish is clean and mellow, with lingering sweetness and gentle spice.
