Hibiki 21 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky drawing on the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and has a dark amber colour.
It was named World's Best Blended Whisky at the World Whiskies Awards 2016.
The nose offers cooked fruits, blackberries, ripe bananas and caramel. On the palate come sandalwood, honeycomb, dried apricot and mizunara, or Japanese oak. The finish is long and strong, with an incense aroma.
