Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2022 Limited Edition Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Blossom Harmony is a blended Japanese whisky bottled in 2022 as a limited edition, at 43% ABV. It combines malt and grain whiskies with a selection finished in sakura wood casks. The sakura cask intrigued Shinji Fukuyo, fifth generation chief blender at the House of Suntory, which has long experimented with different woods. Hibiki means resonance in Japanese. The nose is floral, with sakura, sweet almond and olive. The palate is smooth, with acacia honey, French pear and a sweetness like sakura mochi, and the finish is long and rich.
