Hibiki Blossom Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, bottled in 2022 as a limited edition at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies.
The blend was finished in Sakura, or cherry blossom, wood casks, the first time Hibiki has been aged in that wood. Sakura finishing is still a fairly new experiment, and this was one of Suntory's earliest releases to use it.
The nose brings rose petals, lychee, rosemary, sandalwood and mature oak. On the palate come honey, candied orange peel, white chocolate and Mizunara oak, and these carry into the finish.
