Hibiki – Harmony Suntory Blended Whisky (43%)

Hibiki Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43%. It combines carefully chosen malt and grain whiskies matured in a range of cask types, including Mizunara oak. The blend draws on the fruity notes of Yamazaki, the fresh character of Hakushu and the silky grain whisky of Chita. Hibiki was created in 1989 to mark Suntory's 90th anniversary. The 24-faceted bottle recalls the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar. The nose is rose with a touch of rosemary and ripe, woody sandalwood. The palate is honeyed sweetness with candied orange peel and white chocolate, and the long finish carries a hint of Mizunara.
