High West The Prisoner's Share is a limited-edition blend of High West's straight bourbon and straight rye whiskies, in a 750ml bottle.
It is finished in French oak barrels that previously held The Prisoner Red Blend wine. The casks add dark fruit and tannin to the spicy, robust base spirits.
The nose offers cherry blossom, pomegranate, macerated berries, vanilla bean, toasted cedar and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate is velvety and viscous, with dark fruit, warm baking spices and roasted oak. The finish is long, warming and dry, with black pepper, dark berry compote and French oak tannins.
