High West Campfire is an American whiskey from Utah, blended from bourbon, rye and peated Scotch and bottled at 46% abv. The mix of sweet bourbon, spicy rye and smoky Scotch is a style High West pioneered.
The colour is a rust-gold with amber flashes. The nose has damp forest floor, a recently extinguished campfire, poached pears, cinnamon, vanilla, mint and orange oil, with a touch of iodine. The palate is soft and velvety, with marshmallow, brown sugar, gentle ashy smoke, mint, green apple and fresh lemon. The finish is sweet, with lingering smoke, a touch of menthol and a warm, gently spiced fade.
