Highland Park – 14 Year Old Land of Orkney (70cl, 42.3%)

Highland Park 14 Year Old Land of Orkney is a single malt from the Orkney islands, bottled at 42.3% in a 70cl bottle. Since 1798 the distillery's style has been shaped by heather peat from the Hobbister Moor. This whisky was matured in first-fill American oak casks that previously held sherry, and it is non-chill-filtered with no added colour. The colour is light golden. The nose brings smoky sweetness and crème brûlée. The palate turns fruity, with baked apple and nutmeg, and the long, smoky finish returns to the Orkney heather peat.
