This is a 15 year old single malt from Highland Park on Orkney. It was matured in American and European oak casks that previously held sherry, which gives it a natural golden honey colour.
The nose is gentle, with ripe mango, caramelised figs and a touch of vanilla. On the palate there is fruity sweetness, cinnamon and dark chocolate, woven through the heathery peat smoke associated with Highland Park. The finish is long, silky and warm.
