Highland Park Sky of Orkney is an 18 year old single malt from Orkney, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a tribute to the skies above the islands.
The whisky was matured in first-fill and refill sherry casks made from European and American oak. It has a deep amber colour and is bottled with natural colour.
On the nose there is heather, peat smoke, floral notes and a little citrus. The palate brings dark cherries and sweet cocoa with honey and smoky touches, finishing with a hint of pistachio. The finish is spicy, long, nutty and smoky.
