Highland Park – 18 Year Old Viking Pride

Viking Pride is Highland Park's 18 year old single malt, matured in sherry-seasoned European oak casks. The peat comes from Hobbister Moor, and the distillery uses hand-turned floor maltings. The colour is natural, taken from the casks with no additives, and shows as a clear, bright burnished gold. It is described as combining honey sweetness with cherries wrapped in chocolate and light top notes of aromatic peat smoke. Flavours include cherries, dark chocolate, toffee, marzipan, heather honey and peat smoke.
